This position involves managing a comprehensive caseload that includes both misdemeanor and felony matters. Key duties include court representation, handling DMV-related proceedings, participating in preliminary hearings, and preparing and submitting relevant legal motions.

Represent clients in criminal matters across misdemeanor and felony cases
Conduct appearances in court and DMV proceedings
Handle preliminary hearings and advocate during key procedural stages
Draft and file motions and other legal documents
Collaborate with internal teams on case strategy and client advisement
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution
Active license to practice law and admission to a U.S. state bar (California preferred)
Demonstrated ability to draft legal documents and arguments effectively
At least one year of experience in criminal defense or similar litigation practices
